Bayside Soccer Club

Bayside Soccer Club is seeking qualified individuals as referees

for the 2026 summer recreation and fall/spring academy programs. Applicants must:

​

  • be 13+ years old; and 

  • have played soccer for 2+ years

​

What to Expect

  • Complete training - online, classroom, and on the field.  Plus new referees work one on one with mentors for training games.    

  • We work around your soccer schedule so you never miss a game or a practice

  • Gain work experience and build your skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

** Interested in more… you can work your way up to JV/Varsity games with advanced referee training.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 13 years of age or older;

  • Must have at least two years of soccer experience

  • Must complete certification through: (1) attending annual referee trainings (1 in class, 1 on field); (2) completing online SAY soccer referee course and test

Referee Pay Rates

  • 9U–12U Games:

$20 per 45 minute game

  • 14U Games:

Center Referee: $35 per game

Sideline Referee: $25 per game

​

  • 17U Games:

Center Referee: $50 per game

Sideline Referee: $35 per game
